- The Parades (Grand Parades): Don't miss the two grand parades of floats under any circumstances (usually one on the first Sunday and the other on the last Sunday of the event). This is the highlight, with varied themes, sumptuous costumes, and the unmissable Carnival King !
- Bands and Brass Bands: The musical atmosphere is provided by quality groups who set the city streets on fire.
